Bee Honest has introduced the ₹10,000 Honesty Challenge to demonstrate confidence in the purity of our honey. This challenge follows a clearly defined verification procedure to ensure fairness and accuracy. To maintain the integrity of the process, all technical steps outlined below must be followed as described.

Video Recording Guidelines

To ensure transparency and traceability, the entire verification process must be documented through a continuous video recording.

  • Equipment: Use a high-definition smartphone camera (minimum 1080p) with any application that overlays non-editable GPS coordinates and date/time stamps on the video.
  • Live Overlay: The video must display live, non-editable GPS coordinates along with HH:MM:SS timestamps throughout the recording.
  • Continuous Recording: The video must be recorded as one single, uninterrupted file. Any breaks, pauses, or edits may affect the continuity of verification.
  • Visual Continuity: The bottle should remain clearly visible and centered in the frame throughout the process. Continuous visibility helps maintain a clear chain of custody.
  • Lighting: The recording should be done in clear daylight or well-lit conditions so that all seals, labels, and batch details are clearly readable.

1. Delivery Hand-off & Unboxing

  • Start Point: Begin recording at your registered delivery address before receiving the package.
  • Agent Verification: Clearly capture the delivery agent along with their official company ID card during handover.
  • Agent Refusal: If the delivery agent declines to be recorded, the customer must clearly record the sealed package, shipping label, and intact factory seal to proceed.
  • Seal Verification: Record a close-up view of the intact factory seal and the shipping label before opening the package.
  • Initial Inspection: Show a complete 360-degree view of the unopened box to demonstrate that factory sealing is intact.

2. Transit from Home to Laboratory

Purpose: Continuous recording during transit is required solely to confirm uninterrupted custody of the same sealed bottle from the delivery location to laboratory submission.

  • Home to Lab: Continue recording during the journey from your delivery address to the laboratory, whether by foot, bike, or car.
  • Route Visibility: Capture visible surroundings such as street signs or landmarks while keeping the bottle in view.
  • Physical Control: The bottle should remain in your hand or placed visibly on a vehicle dashboard and should not be kept inside closed bags or trunks.

3. AGMARK Government Laboratory Submission

  • Approved Laboratories: Testing must be conducted exclusively at an officially approved AGMARK Government Laboratory.
  • Prohibited Centers: Reports from private NABL laboratories, universities, or third-party testing centers are not eligible.
  • Submission Process: Continue recording while entering the laboratory and handing over the bottle directly to authorized personnel.
  • Sampling Record: The video should include the seal being opened by the technician, sample collection, and issuance of the official receipt.
  • Counter-Sample: Please ensure that the laboratory technician retains a sealed counter-sample for verification purposes.

4. Submission Timeline & Verification

  • 7-Day Submission Window: All materials (video, laboratory report, and receipt) must be submitted within 168 hours of delivery.
  • Exceptions: Delays solely attributable to officially declared public holidays, government-notified closures, or documented AGMARK laboratory shutdowns may be reasonably considered, provided proof of timely sample submission is provided.
  • Data Consistency: The batch number on the bottle and invoice should correspond exactly with the laboratory report.
  • Identity Verification: The name on the laboratory receipt should match the Bee Honest purchase invoice.

*This 168-hour deadline applies strictly to the voluntary ₹10,000 reward claim and does not affect statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

5. Verification Scope

  • Digital Verification: The report must be digitally verifiable through the official government laboratory website using a QR code or tracking ID.
  • Applicable Parameters: The reward applies only to failures under mandatory purity parameters notified in the AGMARK Honey Grading Rules.
  • Non-Applicable Tests: Results from non-mandated tests (including NMR analysis or floral source claims) are not covered.
  • Natural Characteristics: Variations in color, taste, aroma, thickness or crystallization are natural properties and are not quality issues.
  • Re-Verification: Bee Honest may re-test the laboratory-sealed counter-sample at a second government laboratory for confirmation.

6. Evidence Submission Channels

All required materials must be submitted within 7 days of delivery through BOTH channels listed below:
